## Photography projects

- [Training Pools](https://www.watchlooksee.com/project/training-pools/): Created in November 2024, Training Pools captures generative AI at a particular moment in its development. At first glance, these imagined swimming pools, diving towers and water slides appear polished and photographically convincing. Closer inspection reveals impossible structures, broken spatial relationships and subtle abnormalities that could never exist in reality. The series documents both the persuasive surface of these systems and the limitations still visible beneath it.
- [Noche del Vino: Fragmented](https://www.watchlooksee.com/project/noche-del-vino-fragmented/): Fragmented black-and-white studies of Cómpeta’s Noche del Vino, assembling musicians, neighbours, the church tower and the crowded plaza into tiled abstractions. The images were captured using a photo filter I developed inspired by David Hockney's photo collage approach to image making.

Beginning with various methods of visualisation, the study moved into harmonic waves and the practical process of drawing their formation and evolution. The technique may not form part of the final identity, but it became a useful study of how sound can be translated into form.

Rising rents, a changing neighbourhood and the club’s move to the Olympic Park led to its closure; these photographs were made during its final year.

### Proyectos fotográficos

- [Piscinas de entrenamiento](https://www.watchlooksee.com/es/project/training-pools/): Creada en noviembre de 2024, Training Pools captura la inteligencia artificial generativa en un momento concreto de su desarrollo. A primera vista, estas piscinas, torres de salto y toboganes imaginarios parecen pulidos y fotográficamente convincentes. Una observación más atenta revela estructuras imposibles, relaciones espaciales incoherentes y anomalías sutiles que nunca podrían existir en la realidad. La serie documenta tanto la apariencia convincente de estos sistemas como las limitaciones que aún permanecen visibles.
- [Noche del Vino: fragmentada](https://www.watchlooksee.com/es/project/noche-del-vino-fragmented/): Estudios fragmentados en blanco y negro de la «Noche del Vino» de Cómpeta, en los que se combinan músicos, vecinos, el campanario de la iglesia y la plaza abarrotada para crear abstracciones en mosaico. Las imágenes se capturaron utilizando un filtro fotográfico que desarrollé, inspirado en el enfoque de collage fotográfico de David Hockney a la hora de crear imágenes.
- [Armonógrafos](https://www.watchlooksee.com/es/project/harmonographs/): Una exploración de los armonógrafos como forma de visualizar el sonido durante las primeras fases de un proyecto de renovación de marca. Partiendo de diversos métodos de visualización, el estudio se centró en las ondas armónicas y en el proceso práctico de dibujar su formación y evolución. Aunque es posible que esta técnica no forme parte de la identidad final, resultó ser un estudio útil sobre cómo se puede traducir el sonido en forma.
