Loft Party

David Mancuso was the creater of The Loft, the legendary invitation-only dance party at his home in New York City. Starting in 1970 as a refuge for the gay community the parties laid the groundwork for modern club culture, disco, and house music. These images were captured at a Loft Party held in London in 2007.
